I grew up in Anaheim and moved to tiny Escalon near Modesto when I was 8 years old. My parents wanted a better environment for their kids to grow up in. Through school I was the kid who fit in with and got along with every clique, but never felt like he fully fit in with any of them. I played one year of baseball, mostly second base, and ran three years of track sprinting the 100, 200, and 4x100 relay mostly. I've always seemed to be the fifth wheel around everyone... I don't quite fit into any social group that well, though I can make an attempt. My mind is never on the task at hand, but on everything else I have to do. If I seem distant or out-of-touch, that's probably because I'm thinking again, and I should probably stop.

I get told I'm uptight sometimes, but, when you are the youngest of all of your friends and yet the most mature, you adopt a parental mindset, meaning you have to watch out for everyone and make sure their idiot selves don't get hurt. I've never been much of a partier, though the occasional get-together is fun. I much prefer a couple good friends over a bunch of people I hardly know. It also doesn't help that I have social claustrophobia.

hmmmm.. im an eclectic free spirit with tendencies of swimming in the deeper end of the pool.. listen much more than i talk but i well speak up if i have something important to say.. family and faith are important to me but im hardly traditional in my manifestations of the acknowledgments of these and most other truths. i think the world is dark and getting darker by the day and i'd like to make differences in the lives of individuals. when im not caught up like atlas (with the world on my back) i just like to lounge around with friends and enjoy good music, good movies, good wine, good beer, good food, and most of all good company, im all about enjoying the finer things.. and climbing trees swaying in the breeze with their branches.

I've acquired a roommate who doesn't suck. I have a speedy little car that gets me from A to B (and in semi frequent trouble). I've got a goofy ass cat. I'm a movie buff. I read, yes actual books. I can cook (and mostly without using the microwave!). I have been known to build/fix stuff. I'm told I keep my place really clean "for a guy". Animals hold a soft spot in my heart. I'm country raised and not afraid of getting dirty. I mean really, dirt can be fun sometimes. ;)

I like to run and keep active. When I lived in Oakdale, it was a weekly ritual of mine to go to Knight's Ferry to hike and climb the little rocks they do have, but I enjoyed it. I'm not too fond of the cold, but I love snow. The smell of pine in the air is a refreshing taste of life.

I feel that all life is precious and sacred, people, trees, plants, bugs and even certain inanimate objects ...... everything has an energy~ I love going to holy places like churches, temples, shrines, graveyards, the ocean, the forest, the desert, to tops of mountains, in my own mind or any sort of spiritual sanctuary. I strive for a higher consciousness but I sometimes fall away from the path. I have had some amazing mentors who have directed me back to it.
